Best Food In Town

  • Farmstead Bakery(a MUST)
    Farmstead is our absolute favorite. The George sandwich is the bomb (seriously), and the strawberry croissant is worth every buttery, flaky bite. They sell out fast—go early and thank us later.

    The Crepery
    We love the laid-back vibe and sweet & savory crepe combos here. Perfect for brunch with friends or a cozy morning treat. Try the “Strawberry Shortcake” or their ham and cheese—it’s like breakfast in Paris.

    First Watch
    A solid go-to for a sit-down breakfast. Their menu is loaded with healthy options, seasonal specials, and super tasty pancakes. It’s fresh, reliable, and always a win—especially with the Morning Meditation juice.

    Duck Donuts(new in town!)
    Made-to-order donuts served warm and customizable. You choose your frosting, topping, and drizzle—what’s not to love? It’s a newer spot, but already one of our favorite sweet morning stops.

    Lin’s Bakery
    Tucked inside a local grocery store, this is one of those under-the-radar spots with shockingly good donuts. Fresh, soft, and budget-friendly—perfect for grabbing a dozen on your way out for an adventure.

    Bear Paw Café(Downtown St. George)
    A long-time local favorite with big portions and classic breakfast dishes. It’s a sit-down diner with great waffles and strong coffee—perfect if you want the full breakfast experience.

    Perks! Espresso & Smoothies(Multiple locations)
    This little drive-thru has killer smoothies, protein-packed breakfast options, and coffee with a local twist. Great if you're in a rush but still want something fresh.

    FeelLove Coffee(Downtown or Kayenta)
    A coffee shop with major personality and some really beautiful latte art. Their avocado toast, pastries, and moody aesthetic are totally Instagram-worthy. Great for relaxing before a day of exploring.

  • Cliffside Restaurant
    We go here when we want dinner with a view. The panoramic lookouts over the valley paired with their steaks and seafood make it a standout spot for date night or out-of-town guests.

    Sakura Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi
    We love bringing family here for the hibachi show—it’s dinner and entertainment in one. Their sushi is always fresh, and it’s our go-to for group outings.

    Benja Thai & Sushi
    We always crave Benja when we’re in the mood for something cozy and flavorful. Their curry is rich, the pad thai hits just right, and the sushi never disappoints.

    Angelica’s Mexican Grill(a MUST)
    We can’t get enough of Angelica’s. Their street tacos, creamy guac, and homemade salsas are full of flavor—and everything tastes so fresh. It’s fast, casual, and SO good.

    Red Fort Cuisine of India
    We hit up Red Fort when we’re craving bold spices and something warm and comforting. The butter chicken is amazing, and don’t skip the naan—it’s pillowy perfection.

    Cappeletti’s Restaurant
    We like to unwind here with a plate of house-made pasta and a cozy atmosphere. It’s family-owned, relaxed, and full of heart—exactly what you want in an Italian spot.

    We’re obsessed with the seasonal menu here. Every dish feels like something special, and it’s our top pick for a stylish night out with incredible local ingredients.

  • Viva Chicken
    We’re big fans of Viva for their juicy Peruvian rotisserie chicken and fresh sides. The bowls are packed with flavor, and it’s one of our favorite healthy-but-hearty spots in town.

    Morty’s Cafe
    We stop by Morty’s when we want a solid burger and fries that always hit the spot. It’s quick, easy, and has a fun college-town feel. Try the sweet potato fries!

    J. Dawgs
    We grew up loving these hot dogs, and we’re so glad they made it to St. George. Their secret sauce is the real MVP—don’t even think about skipping it.

    Mixed Greens
    This is our go-to for something fresh but filling. Their salads and warm bowls are super customizable, and the portions are generous. Great spot if you’re on the go but still want to eat clean.

    Street Eats
    We love this hidden gem for their scratch-made menu and bold flavors. It’s fast-casual, but the quality feels like a sit-down restaurant. Try the fusion tacos—they’re next level.

    Chubby’s Cafe
    When we’re craving comfort food, Chubby’s delivers. Their chicken sandwiches and fries are always satisfying, and the portions are no joke. Bonus: super family-friendly.

    Seven Brothers Burgers
    We head here for the creative burgers and chill vibe. It’s a Hawaiian-born spot that brings serious flavor to every bite. The Paniolo burger? Life-changing.

    Riggatti’s Wood-Fired Pizza
    If you're in the mood for pizza, this is the place. We love the chewy crust and the way they fire everything in that wood oven. Super casual, super good.

    Marv’s Drive-In (Enterprise)
    A classic roadside stop that feels like stepping back in time. We love their shakes, burgers, and small-town charm. Perfect after a scenic drive through the pines.

    Brad’s Food Hut (Cedar City)
    This little burger shack is a Cedar City staple. Crispy fries, loaded burgers, and no-frills deliciousness. It’s cash-only, so come prepared—and hungry.

    Hermie’s Drive-In (Cedar City)
    A fun, retro-style drive-in with burgers, shakes, and even fish & chips. It’s been serving locals forever and has that nostalgic “summer night” feel we love.

    El Centro Woodfired Pizza (Cedar City)
    Hands down one of the best pizzas in Southern Utah. The crust is chewy, the toppings are fresh, and the vibes are cozy. We always stop here on our way to the Shakespeare Festival or Brian Head.

    Oscar’s Café (Springdale)
    If you’re heading to Zion, make a point to eat here. Big portions, killer enchiladas, and patio seating with red rock views. It gets busy, but it’s worth the wait.

  • Swig (a MUST)
    You can’t visit Southern Utah without going to Swig. Their famous dirty sodas are the best!

    Dutchman’s Market (Santa Clara)
    This unassuming gas station is home to the famous pink sugar cookie (locals say its the original!). It’s soft, sweet, and one of the best-kept local secrets. Grab a few on your way to Snow Canyon—you won’t regret it.

    Nielsen’s Frozen Custard
    Creamy, rich, and oh-so-satisfying. Nielsen’s is a classic for a reason. We love their concretes (think custard + toppings blended to perfection). It's our go-to summer night treat.

    Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream
    Big scoops, bold flavors, and made fresh daily. We love this spot for their seasonal options and super creamy texture. The Graham Central Station flavor? Unreal.

    Bahama Buck’s
    The best place to cool down after a hot day. Their fluffy shaved ice and endless syrup flavors are a hit with kids (and adults). Add a scoop of ice cream underneath for the ultimate treat.

    Croshaw’s Gourmet Pies
    If you’re in the mood for something more old-fashioned, Croshaw’s pies are a slice of heaven. Grab one for dessert, or take a whole pie to share (or not—no judgment here).

    Nothing Bundt Cakes
    Mini bundt cakes that pack a punch! They’re moist, flavorful, and perfect for gifting—or just treating yourself after a hike. The red velvet and lemon are our favorites.

  • Snow Canyon State Park
    This is one of our favorite places to explore—and it’s right in St. George! Think red rock cliffs, lava tubes, and short scenic hikes. Jenny’s Canyon and the Petrified Dunes are must-dos.

    Sand Hollow State Park
    Sand, sun, and water! Great for paddleboarding, boating, swimming, or just lounging on the red sand beach. You can even rent ATVs or take the Tesla on a scenic drive around the lake.

    Quail Creek Reservoir
    A peaceful spot for fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding with mountain views. It’s a slower pace than Sand Hollow and perfect for relaxing on the water.

    Red Cliffs Desert Reserve
    Hidden trails, red rock cliffs, and cool little canyons—this area is protected land, and it’s full of native wildlife and scenic beauty. Great for hiking, biking, and photo ops.

    Pioneer Park + Dixie Rock
    Right in town, and totally iconic. Climb on red rock formations, squeeze through slot canyons, and catch panoramic views of St. George. Great for all ages.

    Tonaquint Nature Center
    This is a peaceful walking trail and nature preserve right in town. Shaded paths, bridges, and local birds make it a chill (and kid-friendly) spot to unwind.

    Historic Downtown St. George
    Take a walk through the charming historic district—home to the St. George Tabernacle, Brigham Young’s winter home, art galleries, and little shops. Great for a relaxed morning or golden hour stroll.

    Bloomington Petroglyph Park
    This small site has ancient petroglyphs carved into red sandstone. It’s a quick stop, but one of those hidden gems that’s easy to miss without a local tip.

    Chuckwalla Trailhead
    One of the best local spots for a hike with red rock views and options for beginners or experienced hikers. Keep an eye out—climbers and desert tortoises love it here too!

  • Red Hills Desert Garden (a must-see)
    This beautifully landscaped desert garden is filled with native plants, waterfalls, and walking paths—with sweeping views of the red cliffs. It’s peaceful, educational, and totally photo-worthy. Bonus: it’s free!

    Tonaquint Nature Center
    Shady walking trails, little bridges, and lots of birds and turtles make this a family-friendly favorite. It’s a great stop if you want to get outside without too much sun or elevation.

    The Garden at Green Gate Village
    A quiet courtyard tucked into historic downtown St. George. With twinkle lights, little shops, and a relaxing vibe, it’s a charming stop after lunch or coffee.

    St. George Temple Grounds
    Even while under renovation, the temple grounds are stunning. Take a walk around the gardens and soak in the peace. The surrounding historic homes and visitor center make for a nice stroll.

    Kayenta Art Village & Desert Community
    Just outside St. George in Ivins, this area blends art, desert landscaping, and walking paths into a totally unique experience. Think sculptures, desert blooms, and tucked-away cafés.

    Cactus Alley in Downtown St. George
    A quick and quirky photo spot! It’s a narrow pathway filled with murals, succulents, and fun desert character. Great for a quick stop between lunch and shopping downtown.

    Black Desert Resort (Ivins, UT)
    Utah’s newest golf gem, this 19-hole course is set among ancient lava fields and stunning red rock views. Designed by Tom Weiskopf, it’s quickly becoming a must-play destination and hosts PGA Tour events.

    Sand Hollow Resort (Hurricane, UT)
    Famous for its dramatic cliffside holes and red rock backdrops, Sand Hollow’s Championship Course is consistently ranked among Utah’s best. The back nine is absolutely unforgettable.

    Copper Rock Golf Course (Hurricane, UT)
    One of the area’s newer courses, Copper Rock is scenic, well-maintained, and quickly earning a reputation for fun and challenging play. Great desert layout and tournament-worthy conditions.

    The Ledges Golf Club (St. George, UT)
    Set above Snow Canyon, The Ledges blends red rock views with green fairways. The course is playable for all skill levels and offers one of the most scenic rounds in the area.

    Coral Canyon Golf Club (Washington, UT)
    This course combines natural beauty and playability, with desert views and a layout that challenges while still being beginner-friendly. Fast greens and a relaxing pace.

    Sky Mountain Golf Course (Hurricane, UT)
    Known for its wide-open views of Zion and Pine Valley, Sky Mountain is an affordable, approachable course that still feels like an epic golf destination.

    Sunbrook Golf Club (St. George, UT)
    Featuring 27 holes across three nine-hole courses, Sunbrook keeps things fresh every round. Lava rock, water features, and great conditions make it a local favorite.

    Green Spring Golf Course (Washington, UT)

    Southgate Golf Club (St. George, UT)

    SunRiver Golf Club (St. George, UT)
    Part of an active adult community, this course is always in great shape and perfect for a relaxing round. Wide fairways and a friendly crowd.

    Bloomington Country Club (St. George, UT)
    A private, member-only course with a classic feel—mature trees, traditional layout, and peaceful vibes. If you know someone with access, it’s worth a round.

    Mesquite, Nevada – Worth the Drive

    Wolf Creek Golf Club (Mesquite, NV)
    One of the most famous public courses in the U.S. Wolf Creek’s elevation changes and jaw-dropping views make it feel like you’re golfing on another planet. Absolutely unforgettable.

  • Zion National Park (a must-see)
    Only about an hour away, Zion is one of the most iconic national parks in the U.S. Cruise through towering red cliffs, hike world-famous trails like Angels Landing and The Narrows, or take it easy on scenic routes like Riverside Walk. It’s a full sensory experience—and perfect for a Tesla road trip.

    Tesla Tip: Charge before you go. Springdale has charging stations and stunning red rock views all the way in.

    Kolob Canyons (Zion’s Quiet Side)
    Located just north of St. George, Kolob Canyons offers the beauty of Zion without the crowds. Hike the peaceful Taylor Creek Trail or take the scenic overlook drive for big views and a calm atmosphere.

    Kanarra Falls
    This permit-only hike features waterfalls, slot canyons, ladders, and flowing water—like a mini Narrows. It’s adventurous but doable, and perfect for anyone who wants something exciting without a full park day.

    Toquerville Falls
    This one takes a dirt road to reach (make sure you’re okay with some bumps), but it leads to a gorgeous desert waterfall. You can wade in the water or have a picnic with a view. Quiet, unexpected, and so worth it.

    Cedar Breaks National Monument
    Just under 90 minutes away and 10,000 feet up, Cedar Breaks feels like a peaceful Bryce Canyon. Hoodoos, wildflowers, and cool mountain air make this a dreamy escape in the summer months.

    Pine Valley
    About 45 minutes away and surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and cool breezes, Pine Valley is one of our favorite chill-day getaways. It’s perfect for a picnic, a frisbee toss, or a shaded walk in the mountains.

    Snow Canyon Scenic Drive
    Right outside St. George, this drive loops through towering red rock, lava flows, and sand dunes. Even if you’ve already hiked Snow Canyon, seeing it from the road is a whole new experience—especially with the Tesla windows down and tunes up.

    Springdale
    Even if you’re not heading deep into Zion, Springdale is a charming town to visit for shopping, dining, and relaxing red rock views. Grab lunch at Oscar’s Café, browse local art galleries, and stroll around town. It’s a great slower-paced option.

    This place is every kid’s dream. Wall-to-wall trampolines, a ninja warrior course, climbing walls, a foam pit, and even a toddler zone—House of Jump is perfect for all ages. It’s our #1 pick when the weather’s crazy or the kids need to bounce off some energy (literally).

    Fiesta Fun Center
    A one-stop spot for bowling, laser tag, mini golf (indoor & outdoor), arcade games, and bumper cars. It’s great for birthday parties or a rainy-day escape—and there’s pizza, too.

    The Grip Ninja Gym
    Inspired by the show American Ninja Warrior, this gym is built for kids and teens who love to climb, swing, and challenge themselves. They offer open gym hours, classes, and even family passes.

    St. George Children’s Museum
    A creative and educational space with hands-on exhibits for younger kids. From pretend play (doctor’s office, grocery store) to science zones, it’s perfect for toddlers through elementary-aged kids.

  • Getting In & Starting

    • Unlock + start using your Tesla app (phone = key).

    • Just press the brake pedal to start—no button needed.

    Driving

    • Right stalk to shift:

      • Down = Drive

      • Up = Reverse

      • Press in = Park

    • Regenerative braking slows the car when you lift off the pedal.

    Charging

    • Charging port is on the rear driver’s side (press to open).

    • Use Tesla Superchargers or public EV stations.

    • Please return with at least 50% charge.

    Touchscreen Tips

    • Tap the car icon (bottom left) for settings.

    • Use the fan icon for A/C & seat heaters.

    • Use Bluetooth or built-in apps for music.

    • Navigation works just like Google Maps.
